How it works

The particle の (of) links two nouns into one possessive phrase: 私わたし (I) + の (of) = “my”, so 私のパソコンわたしのパソコン (my computer) is the thing being talked about. Then the adjective 遅いおそい (slow) acts as the whole predicate — Japanese い (i-adjective)-adjectives can end a sentence by themselves, no copula needed. There's no です (is) and no subject particle, so it sounds plain and casual, like muttering “my computer's slow.”
