Close an introduction

Nothing in the phrase changes, so learn it as one piece. English has no equivalent; it lands somewhere between “I hope we get on well” and “please be good to me”, and it works because both people are asking each other for the same thing. It is not only for introductions — it also follows a request, once someone has agreed to help you.
