Connect adjectives together (くて / で)

Connect multiple adjectives in one thought. For い-adjectives, drop い and add くて. For な-adjectives, use で.

Combine descriptions: cheap and delicious, quiet and clean

In Japanese, you cannot use the particle と (to) to link adjectives together. Instead, adjectives form their own て-form (te-form):

1. **い-adjectives**: Drop い (i) and add 〜くて (kute): - 安い(やすい) (cheap) → 安くて 美味しい(やすくて おいしい) (cheap and delicious) - 大きい(おおきい) (big) → 大きくて 明るい(おおきくて あかるい) (big and bright) - Exception: いい becomes よくて. 2. **な-adjectives**: Add 〜で (de): - 静か(しずか) (quiet) → 静かで きれい(しずかで きれい) (quiet and clean) - 親切(しんせつ) (kind) → 親切で 面白い(しんせつで おもしろい) (kind and interesting)

The tense of the whole sentence is decided exclusively by the final word at the end.
