How it works

The adjective 大きいおおきい (big) sits right before the noun it describes (犬いぬ (dog)) — just like English. が (subject) marks the subject, and いる (there is, for living things) is used because a dog is alive (ある (there is, for things) would be wrong here). The final よ (I'm telling you) adds a little nudge, like letting someone know something they may not have noticed.
