How it works
This is the basic "A is B" pattern. これ (this) is the topic, marked by は (topic) — "as for this…". The little の (of) glues two nouns together to show possession: 私 (I) + の (of) = "my". Then comes the thing itself, ノート (notebook), and the polite です (is) closes the sentence at the very end.
