How it works

Add 〜たい (want to) to a verb stem to say you want to do it: 食べるたべる (eat) becomes 食べたいたべたい (want to eat). The thing you want to eat, カレー (curry), takes が (subject) here — with 〜たい (want to) the object often shifts from を (object) to が (subject).
