How it works

To say “let’s do something,” put the verb in its volitional form: 行くいく (go) becomes 行きましょういきましょう (let’s go). The ましょう (let’s) ending is polite and suggests doing the action together. に (to) marks where you’re heading — here, 買い物かいもの (shopping) as the goal of going.
