How it works

Just one i-adjective doing all the work: 恥ずかしいはずかしい (embarrassing) stands alone as a complete sentence, no subject and no copula needed. The drawn-out なぁ (...) on the end adds a heartfelt, talking-to-yourself sigh — "how embarrassing…".
