How it works

Japanese builds big numbers in blocks of ten-thousand, so 一万いちまん (ten thousand) is literally 一いち (one) ten-thousand. The counter 円えん (yen) attaches directly to the number with no particle in between, and the ！ (!) marks it as an excited exclamation rather than a calm statement.
