How it works

は (topic) marks the topic (黒猫くろねこ (black cat)) — “as for the black cat…”. Then comes 好きすき (like), which in Japanese works like an adjective for liking something rather than a verb. There’s no copula and no question word: the plain, casual feel comes from dropping です (is), and the rising tone (the ？ (?)) alone turns it into “do you like…?”.
